Protection Policy


1. Personal Data

I, Mag. Elisaveta Zaharieva, operator of the communication platform DentalAce – www.acemydental.com (hereafter called DentalAce), collect, process, and use your personal data only with your consent as related to any purposes that are previously agreed to with you or if a legal basis in accordance with DSGVO is in place: all in accordance with data and civil protection rules and regulations. 

We only collect such personal data, which are necessary for the processing and performance of the services that DentalAce provider or which are volunteered to us.

Personal data are all data that contain information about personal or material relationships and other matters, such as name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, age, sex, social security number, videos, photos, voice recordings or persons, and biometric data including finger prints. Also, sensible data, such as health information or data that is connected to legal and criminal proceedings may be included. 

This website contains data that were relayed to us by the Austrian Dental Association. The Austrian Dental Association only relays on those data, which are considered public in accordance with 
§ 11 Abs. 3 Zahnärztegesetz (ZÄG). In the case of self-employed dentists, this includes the address of their practices, in the case of employed dentists, it includes the address of the practice that employs them, and in the case of home-practicing dentists, it includes their home addresses. A confirmation of all affected dentists regarding the public release of their data is not required by law and is, thus, not necessary. 


2. Information Requests and Deletions

As an affected person, you always retain the right to ask about information related to your personal data saved in our system, its origins, its recipients, and the purpose for which they are processed. You also have the right to ask for the correction and transmission to you, as well as for their restricted use, restricted display, and deletion of all incorrectly stated and processed data. Whenever changes to your personal data occur, we kindly request you to let us know. You retain the right at all times to revoke your consent regarding the use of your personal data.

If you believe that the use of your personal data violates data protection regulations, you may file a complaint with the appropriate regulatory agency. In Austria, this agency is the Data Protection Agency.



3. Data Protection

Protection of your personal data occurs through appropriate organizational and technical measures. These measures include the protection against unlawful, non-permitted, and even random access, processing, loss, use, and manipulation of said data.

Irrespective of our efforts to retain an appropriately high standard of data protection, we can not rule out that information, that you disclose to us through the internet will be seen and used by other persons. 

Please note that we do not take responsibility for the disclosure of information due to data transmission mistakes that were not caused by us or due to unauthorized access by third parties (e.g., a hacker attack on an e-mail account or phone, interception of faxes, etc.).



4. Use of Data

If you contact us through the contact form on our website or via e-mail, we will retain your data for the purpose of processing and for follow-on requests for six months. 

We will not use the data that you provide to us for other purposes than those agreed on with you through a contract or order or those covered by the DSVGO. An exception from this is the use for statistical purposes as long as the provided data are kept anonymous. 


5. Transmission of Data to Third Parties

To fulfill your order, it is possibly necessary to relay your data to third parties (e.g., dentists, insurers, service providers, etc.) or governmental bodies. Relaying your data happens exclusively on the basis of the DSVGO, especially for the fulfillment of your order or based on your previously provided consent. 

Furthermore, we would like to inform you that, in the scope of our services, we regularly receive information about you from third parties as well.



6. Notification about Data Breaches

We always make the best effort to ensure that data breaches are recognized early on to notify you and all appropriate regulatory bodies about them right away and to relay information about the types of data that were breached.


7. Storage of Data

We will not store data any longer than is required for the successful fulfillment of our legal duties and for the defense against broad liability claims.


8. Cookies

This website uses "cookies" in order to make our offering more effective, user-friendly, and secure.

A "cookie" is a small text data file that we transmit to your computer hard-drive via your web browser. This allows our website to recognize you as a user whenever a connection is established between our web server and your browser.

Cookies help us with tracking the number of users and their frequency of using certain websites. 9. Server-Log-Files

To optimize this website with regards to system performance, user experience, and provision of useful information about our services, the provider of our website automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes your internet-protocol address (IP address), your browser and language settings, your operating system, your referrer URL, your internet service provider, and the date and time.

A combination of these data with personal data sources will not be made. We also reserve the right to test these data whenever we receive concrete indications about potentially unlawful use.



10. Web-Analyse

Yandex.Metrica

Our website uses Yandex.Metrica Web Analytics, provided by Yandex Oy Limited Company - Moreenikatu 6, 04600 Mantsala, Finnland (hereafter called "Yandex").

Yandex.Metrica uses "cookies", small text files, which are placed on users' computers in order to track user activity.

Information that is collected through cookies does not reveal your identity but it can help us improve the performance of your website. Information about your use of this website is transmitted via cookies to Yandex, which stores said information in its servers in the EU and the Russian Federation. Yandex will process this information in order to assess how you use this website, to send us reports about said use, and for other services. Yandex processes this information in accordance with the terms of use of the Yandex.Metrica Service.

You can stop the use of cookies by making relevant adjustments to your browser settings. Also, you can use the tool: https://yandex.com/support/metrika/general/opt-out.html. However, it can have a negative impact on some of the website's functions. By using this website, you are consenting to Yandex collecting and processing your data for the above mentioned purposes.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. („Google“), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

We use Google-Analytics-Cookies to collect aggregate statistical information about the number of visitors of our website and their user behavior. This includes information about how users access the website, how long they stay, how often they visit, and which pages they view. This information is then used to create reports and to optimize the website (find more information in our cookie policy).

Via the use of cookies in the context of Google Analytics, your IP address is recorded. IP addresses of our visitors do get shortened, whenever it is technologically feasible, to ensure the anonymity of the user.

This anonymity is provided for within the European Union or within the European Economic Union. Only in rare cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened and made anonymous there. The IP address that is transmitted to Google via your browser in conjunction with Google Analytics is not combined with other data.

Please note that you may not use the full functionality range of the website after installing this plug-in. 

We have entered into contracts with Yandex Oy Limited Company and Google Inc. that cover the processing of personal data related to customer orders.

Your IP address is recorded but almost immediately made anonymous. As a result, only a rough localization is possible. 


Data processing happens on the basis of the legal stipulations of § 96 Abs. 3 TKG as well as Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit a (Consent) and/or f (justified interest) of the DSGVO.

Our concern in accordance with the DSGVO (justified interest) is the improvement of our offer as well as of our web presence. Since we very much value the privacy of our users, we make our users' data anonymous.

User data are stored for the duration of 14 months.

12. Use of Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Instagram Plugins

Our website uses so-called social plug-ins („Plugins“) of the social networks Facebook and Google+ as well as those of the micro-blogging services Twitter and Instagram. These services are offered by Facebook Inc., Google Inc., Twitter Inc. and Instagram LLC („provider“).

When you visit a page on our website that has such a plug-in installed, your browser creates a direct connection to the servers of Facebook, Google, Twitter, or Instagram. The content of these plug-ins is transmitted by each of these providers directly to your browser and embedded in your website.

After the embedding of the plug-in, the providers receive the information that your browser has called up the particular page of our website where the plug-in is, even if you do not yet have a profile or if you are not logged in yet.
