When did you first become a practicing dentist?

About 19 years ago

Did you recently open your own dental practice in Vienna?

Relatively recently. I have been practicing dentistry in Vienna since March 2018.

How would you describe your and your practice’s unique value proposition to patients?

Quick and painless … I am always there for my patients whenever they need me


In your opinion, what are the top-3 success factors that allow a dental practice to provide the best possible patient care?

* Honesty

* Professionalism

* Empathy

How do you currently communicate with new patients prior to their first appointment (e.g., phone, e-mail, social media, etc.)?

Via phone and on social media

Are these communication channels sufficient or is there still room for improvement / need for better ways to communicate with patients?

For now, more or less sufficient

Do you use different communication channels when conversing with existing patients vs. new patients?

Not really, no

Do you often experience last-minute appointment cancellations (e.g., on the same day)?

Relatively rarely – I highly value good timing

Do cancelled appointments generally remain unfilled?

Yes, occasionally, but that's not too big of a deal for me

How high is your interest in learning about a new method for offering these cancelled appointments to other patients?

Whenever I have time for a conversation, I'd love to hear about it

Do misunderstandings occur from time to time between you and your patients regarding their specific treatment needs (e.g., recommended procedures, time frames, pricing, etc.)?

Luckily, none so far


You have been using DentalAce for several months already - could you please share your experiences and impressions?

Did you have any difficulties with using the platform?


What is your overall opinion of the value proposition of the platform?

DentalAce is a great idea – though we're still in the beginning phases, I do believe that we'll be able to work together in an increasingly effective way

Which function(s) of the platform do you find the most useful?

I am a huge fan of the following 3 functions:

* Ability to invite individual patients to appointments

* Quick & easy online appointment booking

* Simple and fast exchange of information about patient-specific needs directly online

If you could wish for any additional function(s) for the DentalAce platform, which one(s) would you wish for?

So far, I'm happy with the platform as is :)

How easy was it to open your account on DentalAce?

Very easy

Were you able to find new patients via the DentalAce platform?

Yes, very many

How does DentalAce help you with respect to patient communication?

Faster and simpler appointment booking

Would you recommend DentalAce to your dentist colleagues and/or to patients?

Yes, I'd recommend it to both because the portal makes communication between patients and dentists much easier
